The wire

  1. 01Novo Nordisk licensed Nanexa's PharmaShell coating technology for long-acting peptide injectables in obesity, type 2 diabetes and other cardiometabolic conditions, with Nanexa eligible for €615 million in upfront and development and regulatory milestones plus low single-digit royalties.
  2. 02Monthly or quarterly dosing would change the administration burden and refill cadence clinicians and pharmacies currently manage with weekly incretin injections.
  3. 03Novo takes full development and commercial responsibility; no programs or timelines were disclosed. The same week, Lilly signed an InnoCare discovery deal worth up to $3.35 billion and Novartis licensed a BoomRay radioligand for up to $900 million.
