The wire
- 01NCT07171723, an early phase 1 crossover study sponsored by University Hospital Gentofte in Copenhagen, gave LEAP2 or placebo over two visits to people with obesity on semaglutide, starting September 2025 and now listed as completed.
- 02Endpoints include food intake, appetite sensations, glucose metabolism and hormonal responses, probing whether ghrelin-system blockade adds appetite suppression on top of a GLP-1.
- 03Results are not yet posted; this is a mechanistic early-phase study, not a test of LEAP2 as a weight-loss therapy.
