The wire
- 01NCT07809568, sponsored by Universiti Sains Malaysia, will enrol 330 adults starting tirzepatide in routine care, with assessments at baseline, Weeks 12 to 14 and Weeks 24 to 26.
- 02Primary endpoints are HbA1c change in the diabetes cohort and body weight change in the obesity and prediabetes cohorts, addressing a gap in South Asian data.
- 03The study is observational and not yet recruiting, with prescribing, dose and duration left to treating physicians, so no control group will anchor the findings.
