  1. 01Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences researchers tested polysorbate 80, polysorbate 20 and poloxamer 188 on liraglutide, semaglutide and glucagon under agitation stress using SEC, CD and NMR.
  2. 02PS80 bound liraglutide specifically and drove the fastest aggregation; PS20 was less disruptive, a caution for anyone formulating or repackaging peptide parenterals.
  3. 03Findings are molecule-dependent bench data under forced agitation stress, not shelf-life or clinical stability results for marketed products.
