  1. 01Kailera Therapeutics said enrollment is complete in KaiNETIC-1 (about 2,500 adults), KaiNETIC-2 (about 1,200 with type 2 diabetes) and KaiNETIC-3 (about 1,200 with BMI 35 or higher), testing weekly ribupatide up to 10 mg over 76 weeks.
  2. 02Ribupatide is a dual GLP-1/GIP receptor agonist peptide; KaiNETIC-3 includes an open-label semaglutide 2.4 mg comparator arm, giving a head-to-head read against an approved incretin.
  3. 03Topline results are not expected until mid-2028, so efficacy, tolerability and discontinuation rates remain unknown; the company describes the drug as potentially best-in-class.
