  2. 02Participants with BMI above 35 lost about 85 pounds, or 30.3% of body weight, after roughly two years, a range the UCHealth expert says matches or exceeds bariatric surgery outcomes.
  3. 03The findings have not been peer reviewed, the FDA has not approved retatrutide, and the drug is unlikely to reach patients before 2027 at the earliest.
