2. 02Semaglutide was stopped and high-dose intravenous methylprednisolone given; at six months disc edema resolved with mild pallor but the visual field defect persisted.
3. 03The authors state causality cannot be established from a single case and urge vigilance for optic neuropathy, particularly with rapid weight loss and vascular risk factors.
