- 01Retrospective records from a Polish private provider covering 3,030 adults starting tirzepatide between November 2023 and February 2025 found discontinuation hazard ratios of 1.44 for 15 mg and 1.24 for 10 mg initiators versus 2.5 mg.
- 02Among 385 patients persistent at least 180 days, median proportion of days covered was 0.86 and 68% met the 80% adherence threshold, relevant to clinics counselling self-paying patients.
- 03Authors note affordability, tolerability and expectations were not directly measured, and comorbidities did not independently predict persistence; the design is retrospective and single-provider.
