The wire

  1. 01An FDA July 2026 briefing document reported that none of the 26 published articles submitted to support Epitalon's compounding nomination were about Epitalon; seven concerned the different substance Epithalamin.
  2. 02Clinicians and pharmacies fielding Epitalon requests should know the widely quoted lifespan figures come from Epithalamin or Thymalin extracts, not the synthetic peptide.
  3. 03In three rodent studies of Epitalon itself, mean lifespan did not change; telomere claims rest on small cell-culture reports, including a 2025 Brunel paper later corrected for errors in three figures, with no human trial measuring telomerase.
