The wire
- 01NEJM published TRIUMPH-1-OSA (243 participants) and TRIUMPH-2-OSA (448 participants), testing once-weekly retatrutide at 4, 9 and 12 mg in moderate-to-severe OSA with BMI of at least 27.
- 02Placebo-adjusted AHI reductions reached 24.4 events per hour without diabetes and 15.1 with diabetes; weight loss ranged from 12.1% to 22.2% versus 4.8% to 5.6% on placebo.
- 03Retatrutide remains investigational; the trials were nested in larger basket studies and used a hybrid-treatment estimand alongside intention-to-treat analyses.
